Building on the previous HCT Logistics urban autonomous delivery experiment in Hsinchu, this project introduces a 35-ton autonomous tractor-trailer to meet the future bulk transportation needs of logistics operators. It conducts long-distance autonomous driving experiments on intercity expressways, challenging high-speed autonomous driving technology and real-world operational validation in Taiwan. The vehicle speed is increased from 30 km/h to 80 km/h, while dynamic load stability control technology is introduced to enable adaptive adjustments under various loading conditions, thereby enhancing the feasibility of commercial deployment. |
